What's TED ?
For 30 years the American TED Conference has been bringing together brilliant minds in their fields to share their ideas with the world. It's an annual event where the world's top talents are invited to share their passions.
TED was founded in Monterey California in 1984. In 2001, The Chris Anderson Foundation purchased it from its founder Richard Saul Wurman. In recent years TED has opened its doors and offers an international conference called TED Global as well as several media initiatives such as TEDTalks and TED.comand the TED Prize.


What's Tedx ?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is called TEDxMoroni, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxMoroni event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.


What's TedxMoroni ?
TEDxMoroni was founded in April 2020 by Abdallah El Badaoui who wishes to share his passion for TED conferences but also to create a place for exchange, sharing ideas, experiences and hope within the Comorian community.
TEDxMoroni aims to create a significant and positive impact in our community by giving a voice to experts, young people, entrepreneurs, artists and idea bearers to tell their stories and inspire us. So that together we can all make our contribution towards building a better society.
